We love the beach! I decided to do a beach theme for my son’s 7th birthday and it was a success. Colors wear red, blue, yellow and white. Our guests enjoyed designs by Sharp Occasions, Nay’s Taco Bar, the Earth Day mascot and beach games like tug of war. Can’t wait to do it again! ⛱⛱⛱

Brandi's Birthday Brunch!
Ah, I love brunch. The omelettes, crab legs, waffles, and the pasta bar...oh and did I mention endless Mimosas? A perfect place to celebrate my besties birthday this past July 2017. Colors were rose gold, black and white - with a hint of coral. Fresh flowers, name cards and gift bags were at each guests table setting. It was pretty windy that day - but nothing could ruin the spectacular views in Burbank at The Castaway. We had a ball and stayed for hours.... we'll be back again real soon! Happy Birthday Brandi!

Baby Shower for Brody ~ my baby boy!
Yes, I had a baby boy on 9/19/15. It's taken a while...(for obvious reasons) but I wanted to share photos from my baby shower. The theme was a backyard southern BBQ with tons of food and dessert.
We had BBQ and grilled chicken, fried catfish on skewers, hush puppies, hamburgers, hot links, potato salad, red beans and rice, macaroni and cheese, grilled veggie skewers, corn on the cob, green salad, shrimp appetizer, BEAN DIP, braised pork cheese dip, ships and salsa, guacamole, cucumber water, sangria, sweet tea...and more. Desserts were white cake with buttercream frosting, peach cobbler, cupcakes, homemade Mason jar strawberry shortcake, banana pudding, rice krispy treats, chocolate covered popcorn...and more. Like I said, tons of food.
It was definitely a once in a lifetime event with over 90 guests in our home. We had a blast!
Special thanks to my family, friends and husband for working it. I'm exhausted just thinking about it.
And now, I'm already planning Brody's first birthday party... :)

The Future Mrs. Lewis - Jen's Bridal Shower!
So...my sister is getting married November 2015! For her bridal shower, she wanted an elegant outdoor table setting, 20 guests, black/white and fuchsia theme...and Greek food. Easy right? Yep. Piece of cake....(with the help of 5 bridesmaids and the mother of the bride). She provided a Pinterest look book and we went with it...and it turned out fab. Congratulations Jen! He put a ring on it!

Sneak Peek!
Because I just can't wait for the final pictures, I'll share one photo (my helpful husband took) of the 50th wedding anniversary party. Even during the setup, the party was just stunning. The view was breath-taking and I hadn't even added the flowers, cloud balloons or confetti yet. *sigh* I just love parties!

Mom's 60th birthday!
So... in the midst of planning a memorable 50th wedding anniversary party...my Mom turned 60! We did a fab black, white & red theme in the private room at McCormick and Schmick's on Rodeo Drive for her Sassy 60th birthday party. She even had a red sequins photo-shoot backdrop to go with her red velvet cake from Cobblers, Cakes & Kream.
Lots of fun, Happy Birthday Moms!

Party Favors & Cloud Balloons
Countdown to party time...the 50th wedding anniversary party that is. I'm busy dressing up party favors and thought I'd share the mini cloud balloon Sara made for me on the spot. She's so crafty!
And, of course, the tulle sealed the deal. Until next time....party on!
